Founder & Core Learning Specialist
Sarah is a primary school teacher who, after ten years teaching grew weary trying to change the system from within. She has always loved the foundation free flow system where learning is more often child led and couldn't understand why primary school didn't continue in this manner beyond the foundation years. Barnwood education is her brainchild and is a combination of all the things she thinks are great about the foundation free flow approach, forest schools and the opinions and ideas she has formed herself from the experience she gained after many years as a nanny, teacher and parent.

Kris
Allied Arts & Magic Specialist
Kris is our expert in the allied arts - he's a magician, artist and children's entertainer. The inventor of our merry band and is renowned for being able to make and create anything out of anything. He has a passion for storytelling, creating in any material (paint, wood, metal and 3D printing). And of course is a devoted magician who adores the craft of making magic and wonder happen.
